Job summary

Endava is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with .NET and Angular to modernise a global insurance platform. You will work across frontend and backend, contribute to cloud-native migration to Azure, and partner with cross-functional teams in a BOT model to deliver scalable, secure software.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality REST APIs, implementing IaC with OpenTofu or Terraform, and advancing CI/CD and DevOps practices while upholding Clean Code and agile principles.

Qualifications

• Six to nine years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET and ASP.NET.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of object‑oriented programming and modern software engineering principles.
• Experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Docker and containerised applications.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code with tools like OpenTofu or Terraform.
• Understanding of cloud-native application development principles.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Understanding of Clean Code principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern Angular applications replacing legacy AngularJS portals.
• Design, develop and maintain .NET backend services supporting distributed compute workloads.
• Build and enhance REST APIs consumed by multiple business applications.
• Modernise legacy platform functionality while preserving business continuity.
• Implement scalable, maintainable and secure software following modern engineering practices.
• Participate in migration towards Azure Container Apps and containerised workloads.
• Support Infrastructure as Code implementation using OpenTofu/Terraform.
• Contribute to cloud-native platform modernization initiatives.
• Participate in deployment pipelines and release automation.
• Help improve platform scalability, maintainability and resiliency.
• Write unit, integration and automated tests ensuring quality.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Apply Clean Code principles and modern software design patterns.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.
• Contribute to zero-downtime deployment improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps and engineers.
• Participate in production support and on-call rotation.
