Job summary

Advanced Infrastructure Design, Inc. (AID) seeks a Senior Engineer to lead NDT/NDE projects for transportation infrastructure across field, office and lab settings.

You will carry out testing, analysis and reporting under supervision, and contribute to project planning and cost estimates. Ideal candidates have strong communication and leadership skills, a civil engineering degree, and extensive experience with GPR, IE, SASW, LCMS, and related NDT methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field required.
• At least 4+ years of experience in NDT fields.
• Strong proficiency in CI/ASCE 38-22 standards and technical utility investigation.
• Expertise in geophysical testing and analysis methods, including EMI and GPR.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and GPR software (IDS-IQ Maps).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise NDT/NDE projects in field, office and lab.
• QC/QA of NDT engineering design projects and assist with project management.
• Site reconnaissance visits and NDT testing; evaluate pavement conditions.
• Locate subsurface utilities and analyze conventional and NDT data (GPR, LCMS, FWD).
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, invoices and technically sound reports.
• Supervise other staff, including NDT Technicians.
