Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. NDE Engineer in Radiography Testing to develop advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions and data analysis for manufacturing improvements ensuring flight reliability.

You will design sensor systems, interface with vehicle engineering, prototype inspections, and manage cross-functional projects and data pipelines. Bachelor’s in engineering, physics, or CS with 6+ years is required; Master’s or PhD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or computer science.
• 6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD in an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions.
• Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems.
• Interface with vehicle engineering across programs to align inspection requirements.
• Prototype early inspection development and bench-top validation.
• Manage cross-functional design and data analysis pipelines.
