Job summary

Montcure, LLC is hiring a Lead Financial Management Subject Matter Expert to direct fiscal operations for a Navy/DoD financial management organization. You will serve as the senior technical authority for the department, guiding a multi-tiered team and interfacing with government leaders at the SES level.

You will own audit readiness, system optimization, and process improvement while ensuring compliance with government standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of DoD or Navy financial management experience with Navy ERP exposure.
• Experience leading teams of financial analysts and Navy ERP specialists.
• Experience translating requirements into functional/technical design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior Financial Management SME and advisor for Navy financial execution and reporting.
• Lead day-to-day performance and mentoring of the fiscal operations team.
• Own audit readiness, internal controls, and FIAR program for the department.
• Direct budget execution oversight and funds status reporting.
• Design training curricula and SOPs for Navy ERP functionality.
• Advise senior leadership on financial policy and risk mitigation.
