Job summary

CACI is seeking a Navigation Systems Integration Engineer to lead IPTs for platform-based integration of navigation elements on US Navy ships, bridging field activities and fleet stakeholders to deliver critical capabilities.

The role requires SECRET clearance, a BS in engineering, and 7 years of Navy navigation experience across inertial systems, GPS, electronic charting, and NAVSSI interfaces, with strong system-architecture and interface diagram skills, and collaboration across programs.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance (or U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain)
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in engineering or technical STEM
• 7 years of experience with US Navy Navigation systems including inertial navigation, speed logs, electronic charting, GPS, NAVSSI, GPNTS/ACNS/NCDS
• Experience with shipboard data networks
• Experience with NAVSEA program offices, PARMs, SHAPMs
• Experience with standard Systems Engineering processes and System Architecture design
• Familiarity with Block Diagrams and interface diagrams (FBDs, FIDs, ICDs, CBDs)
• Experience integrating electronic systems onboard US Navy vessels
• Ability to track and monitor delivery schedules for equipment and support materials
• Ability to coordinate an IPT across organizations to deliver systems to platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support navigation IPTs for platform-based integration of navigation elements.
• Review and track GFE delivery schedules for SCN platforms.
• Develop and maintain Functional Interface Diagrams (FID) for the Navigation Enclave interfaces.
• Support planning and scheduling of Land-Based Test Events for platform integration.
• Review ECRs, TDPs, SIDS, ICDs, and CBDs for compatibility and compliance
