Qualifications

• High School diploma with 13 years, Associates with 11 years, Bachelor's with 9 years, Master's with 7 years, or PhD with 4 years of experience.
• Familiar with ship specifications and working knowledge of ship mechanical construction.
• LHA 8 design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design major components or portions of a functional system.
• Coordinate with organizations affected by design development.
• Check completed layouts and drawings for accuracy.
