Job summary

TrueNet Communications is seeking a Senior National Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across all lines of business and lead CRM-enabled customer relationships. This exempt, full-time role requires strategic sales leadership, target setting, contract negotiation, and collaboration with operations and finance to deliver on commitments.

Travel up to 75% is expected. Candidates with 10+ years of sales experience and a proven track record will shape strategy, mentor teams, and expand key accounts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' strategic sales experience.
  • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred.
  • Proven negotiation and analytical skills with professional business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently - set schedule, meet with customers/operations to ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales pipeline process - identify leads, convert leads to opportunities, and win opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers in assigned customer accounts.
  • Communicate industry and customer trends to Sales and Operations leadership. Collaborate on setting strategy based on this information.
  • Set sales targets within assigned territory to achieve key performance indicators. Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Effectively plan work based on the areas where maximum revenue growth can be achieved.
  • Partner with Operations to create and submit statement of work, including scope of work and pricing information, to customers.
  • Prepare RFx responses and proposals to prospects and clients.
  • Negotiate contracts with customers to reach business agreements that are beneficial to TrueNet.
  • Work closely with Operations and Finance when new business has been sold. Collaborate and prepare the teams for the new work and ensure TrueNet delivers as agreed.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary services to existing customers.
  • Execute networking activities at a very high level, effectively demonstrate the ability to prospect independently and jointly with Operations.
  • Operate within sales budget and provides sales forecasts or related reports to senior management for use in strategic planning.
  • Facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
  • Provide advice and guidance to other sales team members to improve their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Senior National Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business and achieving revenue growth across all lines of business for TrueNet Communications. The Senior National Sales Manager also leads the customer relationship management efforts and fosters new contacts and relationships within TrueNet’s core areas of business. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written formats.
  • Ability to give direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
