Lesley University in Cambridge, MA seeks a full-time faculty member in Music Therapy to teach graduate courses across in-person, hybrid, and online formats and to mentor students within the Expressive Therapies Department.

The successful candidate will integrate musical, creative, and clinical processes into teaching and clinical preparation, contribute to curriculum development and program assessment, and engage in scholarship, clinical practice, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Music Therapy or related field; doctorate preferred.
• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).
• Massachusetts LMHC or eligibility to obtain Massachusetts licensure within one year of hire.
• At least five years of full-time clinical experience, or equivalent part-time, with scholarly, creative, or professional activity.
• Higher education teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level, in Music Therapy, Expressive Therapies, Counseling, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Music Therapy and music-based therapeutic approaches with diverse populations.
• Experience teaching across multiple modalities, including in-person, hybrid, and online formats.
• Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, inclusive, and evidence-based teaching and clinical practice.
• Experience with AMTA accreditation and/or program accreditation is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and Continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Teach graduate courses across in-person, hybrid, and online formats.
• Advise and mentor students; participate in curriculum development and assessment.
• Contribute to accreditation and program evaluation activities.
• Engage in scholarship, creative work, clinical practice, presentations, publications, or community engagement.
• Participate in the intellectual life of the department through service and outreach.
