Job summary

ION Audio is seeking a Software Engineer to build and improve music creation software and platform integrations used by creators worldwide. You will contribute to design, implementation, and long‑term stability of our software for music creation across a global brand portfolio.

You will work with product, design, QA, and other engineers to deliver user‑focused features, optimize performance, and raise engineering standards. Senior level consideration is available.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience in C++, desktop applications, audio software, embedded-adjacent systems, plug-ins, cloud-connected products, or comparable technical domains.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
• Strong debugging, testing, and technical communication skills.
• Interest in music technology, creator tools, hardware/software integration, or audio workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality software for music creation products and platforms.
• Work with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver reliable, user-focused features.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical planning, and estimation.
• Improve code quality, maintainability, performance, and development practices.
• Support integration between technologies and broader inMusic hardware/software ecosystems.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and contribute to long-term platform stability.
• Mentor other engineers and help raise engineering standards.
