Houston Engineering, Inc. in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to help shape cityscapes and neighborhoods through private and public urban projects. You will focus on growing client relationships, securing new work, and mentoring team members to deliver high-quality results.

The role emphasizes project feasibility studies, design documentation, cost estimates, and budget management while collaborating with clients and stakeholders across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• ND PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 8+ years of experience, with recent ND experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resources, or market demand.
• Prepare engineering documents, including design reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Effectively manage budgets, schedules, and timely project completion.
• Participate in pre-project presentations, client meetings, and preconstruction meetings.
• Lead and mentor other civil engineers assigned to projects.
