Qualifications

• PhD (or MS with significant experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Materials Science, or Applied Physics.
• 5+ years of experience in multiphysics modeling of thermal–mechanical systems.
• Experience with advanced multiphysics platforms like MOOSE, Abaqus, or COMSOL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multiphysics models for fusion hardware.
• Simulate coupled thermal, structural, and electromagnetic behavior.
• Perform verification and validation of simulations against experimental data.
