Job summary

Noösphere in Seattle, WA, seeks an experienced ML researcher to shape multimodal foundation models and build evals for real-world deployment. You’ll drive pretraining and post-training experiments, optimize models for edge and cloud targets, and ship telemetry-driven improvements.

You'll design robust evaluation suites, scale data pipelines, and collaborate across engineering to align research with product needs.

Qualifications

• PhD in ML, CV, robotics or related field with production-models track.
• Deep experience training and post-training multimodal models (vision, audio, language) with SFT/RLHF/DPO.
• Experience designing evals/benchmarks for new tasks and trustworthy evaluation.
• Hands-on data pipelines for large-scale model training, curation, annotation, quality control.

Responsibilities

• Design and run eval suites that measure real-world capabilities.
• Train, deploy, and study multimodal models with telemetry feedback.
• Scale the data engine across large volumes and diverse environments.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering on data pipelines and deployment.
