Job summary

Cognizant seeks a MuleSoft Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform. This hybrid role requires 2 days weekly in a Cognizant office in San Francisco, CA, with involvement in API design, security, and performance across enterprise apps.

You will mentor engineers, drive secure integration practices, and collaborate with product, infra, and cloud teams to deliver resilient services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise integration experience and leadership.
• Strong MuleSoft Anypoint Platform skills incl. API-led connectivity and DataWeave.
• End-to-end API lifecycle management: design, governance, analytics, monitoring.
• Experience with security controls, encryption, authentication, authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft and AWS Kiro.
• Drive end-to-end API lifecycle management from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Define reusable API-led integration patterns and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for architecture, development, testing, and reviews.
