Job summary

Artifintech in the United States (Kansas) is seeking a senior MuleSoft integration engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations across on-prem and cloud. You will work on API-led connectivity and create RAML/OpenAPI specs while ensuring security and governance.

The role requires 10+ years of integration experience with MuleSoft, strong API design skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain DR readiness and robust production support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of integration development experience, with 3+ years MuleSoft hands-on.
• Strong MuleSoft and API management skills across the platform.
• Experience building REST/SOAP, DB integrations, and async flows.
• Security and API governance knowledge (RAML/OpenAPI, OAuth, TLS).
• CloudHub/Runtime Fabric deployment experience.
• CI/CD, Git-based source control, Maven and automation.
• Understanding of high availability, DR, RTO/RPO.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft tools.
• Develop REST/SOAP APIs and integrations with databases and SaaS.
• Implement API-led connectivity: System, Process, Experience APIs.
• Create reusable components, error handling, logging, security, monitoring.
• Create RAML/OpenAPI specs, API policies, and docs.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to connectivity and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure security and governance standards.
