Job summary

Immunocore is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support its immuno-oncology portfolio. The role focuses on engaging with healthcare providers in the West US territory and building strong scientific relationships.

You will develop deep expertise in IO, remain current on Immunocore and competitor data, deliver medical education, support clinical research, and gather insights to inform strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of MSL experience with an advanced degree (MD/PhD/PharmD).
• At least 3 years in oncology, preferably immuno-oncology or melanoma.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, GCP, healthcare systems, and treatment guidelines.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel ~60% and work within regulatory and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Developing deep expertise in immuno-oncology, maintaining scientific knowledge of Immunocore and competitor products, and fostering relationships with KOLs to enhance research and education.
• Serving as a credible scientific resource, delivering medical education, supporting clinical research, and gathering insights to inform strategy.
• Acting as an external scientific expert at conferences, investigator meetings, and advisory boards, while providing internal support on medical strategies and early access programs.
• Identifying referral patterns, facilitating investigator-sponsored research, and supporting clinical trial site engagement.
