Job summary

Tempus is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to support the Mid-South region in educating healthcare providers about Tempus oncology assays and technologies. The role is field-based, requiring strong clinical background and the ability to travel up to 50% across GA, KY, and East TN.

The candidate will promote scientific exchange with KOLs, deliver in-person or virtual educational sessions, and collaborate with internal teams to disseminate knowledge and product updates.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or medical degree required.
• Basic understanding of oncology required.
• Experience with genomic testing and LDTs is a plus.
• Knowledge of CLIA/CAP/Sunshine Act is beneficial.
• Proven ability to educate and train healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Act as regional expert on Tempus oncology assays with KOLs and physicians.
• Educate healthcare providers through in-person or virtual presentations.
• Provide scientific education for internal stakeholders in collaboration with Learning & Development.
• Attend conferences and summarize high-impact abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Continuously update stakeholders on medical knowledge and market intelligence.
