Job summary

Keenova seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison - Hepatology (West) to build relationships with key clinicians and KOLs across the Western U.S. This field-based role requires deep scientific expertise to translate data and support medical strategies for payers and societies.

The candidate will lead territory planning, mentor MSLs, and collaborate with internal partners while traveling up to 60%. A background in hepatology or related fields plus 3+ years in pharma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, OD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare environment.
• 2+ years of leadership preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA guidelines and promotional regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with KOLs in assigned territory through scientific exchange.
• Engage in scientific dialogue and communicate data in response to KOL requests.
• Build territory plans to achieve KOL engagement goals.
• Coach MSLs to access KOLs and engagement strategies.
• Support research, investigator-initiated studies, and publications.
• Mentor MSLs and lead congress planning and reporting.
