Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Senior Medical Science Liaison - Dermatology to be based in the Georgia territory, covering Atlanta, Augusta, Athens, Macon, Gainesville, and Savannah, GA.

You will serve as a field-based scientific expert and strategic partner, delivering non-promotional, evidence-based education to health care professionals and internal partners, while aligning with Medical Affairs strategy and asset priorities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree (PharmD, PhD, MD or equivalent) required; post-graduate experience preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant MSL experience with dermatology focus preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 70% within territory and to internal meetings and external congresses.
• Strong scientific acumen with therapeutic area expertise and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Engage in two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs to understand perspectives and identify educational gaps.
• Identify professional relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs to advance scientific credibility.
• Use insights and MSL tools to plan customer engagements and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance decision making and efficiency in core responsibilities.
• Address provider educational needs with data framed in a balanced, evidence-based manner.
• Deliver scientific data tailored to HCP needs through clear dialogue and presentations.
• Submit high-quality insights aligning with organizational priorities to inform strategy.
• Provide support for investigator-initiated and company-sponsored studies.
• Respond promptly to unsolicited inquiries with scientifically sound information.
• Execute Medical Affairs strategy while balancing short-term and long-term objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, US/Global Medical Affairs, and Sales/Marketing.
• Demonstrate continuous scientific learning and leadership development.
