Job summary
BioTechnique is seeking a Senior MSAT Engineer to lead formulation development, compounding design, technology transfer, scale-up, and manufacturing readiness for sterile injectables.
The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Regulatory teams to ensure robust formulations suitable for aseptic manufacturing, with strong expertise in sterile processes and GMP requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
- 7+ years in sterile formulation development, drug product manufacturing, or pharmaceutical process development.
- Senior MSAT Engineer role experience and 8+ years in pharma is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead sterile formulation development and transfer activities.
- Develop and optimize compounding processes for sterile products.
- Support aseptic filling, lyophilization, and manufacturing campaigns.
- Characterize processes and assess scale-up risks and CPPs/CQAs.
- Provide technical guidance during technology transfer and client reviews.
- Support regulatory/compliance documentation and CAPAs.
