Job summary

Amca in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Senior Supply Chain Planner to own the master production schedule, maintain BOMs, and drive ERP/MRP improvements. You will collaborate with engineering to ensure planning parameters align with production realities and release signals that keep buyers and plants aligned.

Expect to define planning standards, test outputs against real builds, and scale these processes across multiple factories as Amca grows. The role requires onsite presence and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production planning, materials planning, master scheduling, or supply chain systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience through at least one ERP or MRP implementation, migration, or major reconfiguration, in a role where you fundamentally shaped how planning worked.
• Demonstrated ownership of a master production schedule or a significant planning segment.
• Deep MRP fluency, including how the plan calculates what to buy against what you already have, how order policies and planning settings behave, and what breaks downstream when they are set wrong.
• Working knowledge of BOMs and how engineering changes flow through them.
• Precise and detail-driven, willing to run a discrepancy down until you know what caused it.
• Direct communicator who can hold a position with engineers and thrives when the plan changes.

Responsibilities

• Own the master production schedule for El Segundo, setting build sequence, quantities, and dates against customer commitments and factory capacity.
• Review MRP output after each automated run and release RFPOs with enough lead time for buyers.
• Pull orders in and push them out as priorities shift, and escape early when the schedule is not achievable.
• Define planning processes, standards, and documentation as Amca scales to more factories.
