Job summary

Nabors is seeking an experienced MPD Engineer III to serve as a senior technical contributor for Managed Pressure Drilling operations. You will apply advanced engineering, troubleshooting, client support, HSE execution, and mentorship to lead complex MPD planning and operational support, strengthening field execution across projects and rigs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field; equivalent certification considered.
• 5-8+ years in MPD, drilling engineering, well control, field engineering, or related oilfield ops.
• Advanced understanding of drilling engineering, MPD technologies, rig operations, and HSE expectations.
• Experience leading MPD technical support including modeling, BOD, IMM, field coordination.
• Mentoring junior engineers or reviewing engineering work.
• Ability to support after-hours operations when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily review and performance oversight for complex MPD rig assignments using KPIs and field updates.
• Provide senior guidance to field supervisors, engineers, and field reps on problems and safe execution.
• Serve as technical contact for client representatives on MPD operations, deliverables and reporting.
• Own or guide MPD trackers, revenue visibility, KPI reporting, and end-of-well report quality.
