Job summary

AAF Latinoamérica is seeking an MP&L Manager in Smithfield, NC to lead materials planning, procurement, warehouse, and shipping/receiving with ERP-MRP mastery.

You will staff and develop the Shipping, Receiving, Traffic, and Inventory Control teams, ensure on-time delivery, optimize inventory turns, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• CPIM/APICS certification is preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• 5 – 10 years direct experience using ERP – MRP systems.
• 5-10 years of background in warehouse management, procurement and materials management and related MRP, DRP, or forecasting.
• Over 4 years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Prior BPICS knowledge in manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Hands-on manager with drive, integrity and energy.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Quantitative analytic and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials planning, procurement, warehouse, and shipping/receiving functions.
• Develop strategies for continuous supply and timely procurement of raw materials.
• Manage staff to achieve inventory turns and minimize excess & obsolete stock.
• Ensure adherence to safety and ISO procedures; uphold vendor relationships.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and technology improvements.
• Coordinate with customers and production managers to meet schedules.
