Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a dynamic Senior Mortgage Consultant to join a fast-paced, in-office team. You will work exclusively with live, inbound lead transfers—no cold calling or self-generated leads—listening to customers, building rapport, and finding the best refinancing solution.

With 2+ years in consumer direct refinance lending, you’ll close deals in a high-energy environment that values initiative, integrity, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in consumer direct refinance lending.
• Energetic, outgoing, and persuasive, with strong character and integrity.
• Builds rapport and connects quickly with consumers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong follow-up habits.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls.
• Strong closer with a passion for negotiating and getting deals done.
• College degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

This is a consumer direct refinance role built for closers. You'll work exclusively with live, inbound lead transfers — no cold calling, no self-generated leads, no outbound dialing. You'll listen, build rapport, and analyze each customer's full financial picture to match them with the right mortgage solution. This is an in-office position in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where the phones don't stop ringing.

The Person:

• 2+ years of experience in consumer direct refinance lending (required)
