Job summary

AskBio Inc. in RTP, NC seeks a Senior Scientist, Molecular Biodistribution to lead biodistribution and gene expression assessment strategies for genetic medicine programs.

You will design suitable assays, generate tissue distribution and transgene expression data, and interpret results to guide candidate selection, dose strategy, and safety assessments for regulatory submissions. Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, pharmacology, bioanalytical sciences, genetics, biomedical science.

Responsibilities

• Design and support biodistribution and gene expression assessment plans for genetic medicine programs.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot molecular assays to quantify vector genomes and transgene expression.
• Analyze biodistribution data to support program decisions and regulatory documentation.
• Present results and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders in genetic medicine.
