Job summary

Corps Solutions seeks a System Administrator for Modeling and Simulation Systems at Camp Lejeune, NC. The role supports Battle Simulation Centers with installation, maintenance, and training in Linux and Windows environments, and cross-boundary network solutions.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 5+ years in IT, and familiarity with USMC/DoD cybersecurity requirements. NATO-Secret security clearance is required, and on-site work is expected in a government facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• At least five years of IT experience including project team work.
• Familiar with USMC and DoD cybersecurity compliancy, instructions, policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems administration and network engineering support for Battle Simulation Centers.
• Maintain modeling/simulation systems and workstations per technical docs in training environments.
• Provide on-site instruction and technical assistance, including field training.
• Develop and maintain cross-boundary network solutions between MAC/classified networks.
• Install, operate and maintain Linux and Windows environments.
• Configure and manage network servers, routers, and switches.
• Provide end-user IT support for BSC simulation systems and applications.
• Install, test, and upgrade network operating systems software and hardware.
• Research recommendations for AV and training tech to support environments.
• Provide training to other team members.
• Perform related duties as needed.
