Job summary

The Collaborative Firm, LLC, based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Transportation Planner to lead transportation and transit projects for the firm and its clients. You will manage multi-modal planning efforts, analyze data, prepare reports, and guide budgets and schedules while delivering client-focused solutions and presentations to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Planning or related field, 8–10 years in transportation planning (5+ years in transit), and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Transportation Planning, Public Administration, Urban Design, Environmental Science, or related field required.
• 8–10 years of transportation planning experience, with at least 5 years in transit planning.
• Strong data analysis, reports, and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and design of multi-modal urban transportation projects and studies.
• Manage multiple projects with varying complexity and timelines.
• Collect and analyze demographic and transportation data.
• Prepare technical reports and review model inputs/outputs.
• Develop and present technical presentations to clients and the public.
• Develop project budgets and schedules, and monitor progress.
• Guide multi-disciplinary teams and identify needed disciplines.
• Contribute to regional and site-level transportation plans.
• Maintain strong client service and manage project finances.
• Participate in project decisions on approach, cost, and scheduling.
