Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile QA to lead automated regression testing for native iOS and Android apps. You will own test infrastructure, integrate AI-assisted code generation with quality gates, and partner with mobile engineers to close coverage gaps and eliminate flaky tests.

You will define the QA strategy for greenfield releases, implement dashboards and SLOs to monitor stability, and raise the bar for release quality across all mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with a focus on mobile test automation.
• Experience building automated regression infrastructure integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite, CircleCI, or similar).
• Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin to read, debug, and write test code against native mobile codebases.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of automated regression test suites for native iOS and Android builds.
• Build test infrastructure integrated into the AI code generation cycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with mobile engineers to close coverage gaps, reduce flaky tests, and optimize workflows.
• Architect the QA strategy for greenfield rollout, enabling rapid, reliable releases.
• Establish quality dashboards and SLOs for real-time visibility into app stability and performance.
