Job summary
Moonshot, the Robinhood for DeFi, seeks a Senior Mobile Engineer to own the Flutter iOS/Android trading experience. You will lead architecture, design system, and engineering practices, delivering interactive, high-performance trading features while laying the groundwork for scalable development.
You will collaborate with Design, Product, and Backend teams, drive testing and release processes, and mentor engineers.
Qualifications
- 6–10+ years in mobile development, 3+ years in Flutter
- Experience owning large-scale consumer apps, fintech/trading preferred
- Strong knowledge of mobile architectures and design systems
Responsibilities
- Own architecture and evolution of Moonshot’s Flutter app for iOS and Android
- Design and maintain a company-wide mobile design system and component library
- Build highly interactive trading experiences with live prices, charts, tickets, history, notifications
- Drive mobile performance, profiling, memory/network optimization, crash reduction
- Implement and maintain automated testing (unit/widget/integration) and guide release/QA
- Collaborate with Product/Growth to integrate analytics, A/B testing, feature flags
- Partner with Backend engineers on API design, data models, resilience
- Lead by example with code reviews, design docs, and mentoring
- Participate in on-call rotations for mobile incidents and root-cause fixes
