Job summary

About Objects is seeking a skilled mobile software engineer to design, implement, and deliver high-quality native mobile applications from Reston, VA. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and team members to craft efficient solutions across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering and 3+ years building native mobile apps, with experience in Agile/Scrum and strong communication. Must be authorized to work in the US and reside in/near Reston.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands‑on professional software engineering experience.
3+ years developing native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
Experience building large‑scale, mission‑critical mobile applications.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Self‑driven, team player with excellent written and oral communication.
Must be able to think critically and manage time.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM degree.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US and reside in the US, able to work from the Reston office.

Responsibilities

Design and implement well-developed software.
Communicate with stakeholders, product owners, and team members to suggest efficient solutions.
Meet delivery commitments of feature content throughout the SDLC from requirements definition through post-implementation support.
