Job summary

Kikoff is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer for the Main App to help scale a core consumer fintech product used by millions. You will own onboarding, payments, and platform improvements, working with cross-functional teams to drive measurable growth in activation, retention, and revenue.

The role emphasizes robust mobile architecture, production ownership, and data-driven decision making, with hybrid work in the San Francisco area and collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile development experience in iOS or Android.
• Proven track record shipping consumer apps at scale.
• Experience with monetization funnels and subscription flows.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and state management.
• Experience with analytics, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
• Ability to own CI/CD, releases, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the mobile funnel from store signup onboarding to first credit action.
• Build acquisition plumbing: deep links, attribution, push/in-app messaging, analytics.
• Own subscription and billing UX including plans, upgrades, autopay, history.
• Build resilient payment flows with Stripe/Tabapay: retries, declines, recovery, edge-case handling.
• Evolve Flutter architecture, modularity, and performance/observability for multi-team scale.
• Improve CI/CD, releases, codegen, testing, and the design system/component library to speed experimentation.
