Job summary

ServiceTrade seeks a Mobile Architect to lead strategic design and evolution of our native iOS and Android apps. You will co-own the mobile roadmap, set engineering standards, and mentor a high-performing team toward scalable, maintainable solutions.

You’ll drive offline-first data synchronization, data consistency, and architecture decisions, while guiding AI-assisted development and ensuring robust release practices across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional mobile app development, with 3+ years in architect/lead role.
• Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience releasing and managing apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and scalable code organization.
• Experience owning and improving CI/CD pipelines and build automation for mobile applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile platform technical roadmap aligned with product and business strategy; evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.
• Define and evolve mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI) across platforms; improve maintainability and modernization.
• Design and maintain modular codebases enabling team scalability and reuse; set guidelines and reviews.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted development practices and new tooling to boost velocity and quality.
• Establish and evolve test automation strategy; collaborate with QA on coverage and standards.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards for consistent quality.
• Collaborate with Design/UX to align implementation with user needs and design systems.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and release processes for Google Play and Apple App Store.
• Monitor telemetry data to drive performance improvements and stability.
