Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Engineering Manager for the App Infra team to own the app architecture, building blocks, and processes that enable engineers to deliver high-velocity, high-quality mobile features. You will lead a team of senior engineers, drive cross-functional alignment, and contribute technically.

The role requires 5+ years in mobile/web engineering, 3+ years in React Native and 3+ years of people leadership, with a track record of delivering consumer-facing apps and scaling to large user

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mobile app and web engineering experience.
• 3+ years working with React Native.
• 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision and roadmap for Mobile App Infrastructure Engineering, focusing on architecture, developer productivity, reliability and performance.
• Lead and grow a team of senior engineers building a mobile app platform and tooling for high-velocity delivery.
• Build trust and drive alignment across engineering, product, design, and leadership on cross-team efforts.
• Make hands-on technical contributions on a regular basis.
