Job summary

Zeitview, a leading intelligent aerial imaging company in San Francisco, seeks an experienced Senior MLOps Engineer I to turn ML models into reliable, production-grade services across multiple industry verticals. You will partner with ML Scientists and DevOps to deploy, monitor, and improve model pipelines and the cloud infrastructure that powers our AI platform.

You will help define standards for model versioning, deployment promotion, and reproducible pipelines while ensuring risk reduction

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in MLOps, ML platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering supporting machine learning teams.
• Demonstrated ability to translate research workflows into reliable production services for ML models.
• Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, version control).
• Experience building production ML pipelines and model registries with versioning and safe release practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate experimental code into dependable production services with ML Scientists, Data Scientists, and Perception Engineers.
• Coordinate with DevOps and Software Engineering on infrastructure requests and data pipelines.
• Maintain and improve the model registry and deployment pipelines; implement safer release practices.
• Build and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads.
• Implement monitoring and observability for models and pipelines in production; track drift and experiment results.
• Maintain deployed ML systems with upgrades, cost management, and retraining support.
• Define conventions for model versioning, deployment promotion, and model documentation/lineage.
