Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer for its Autonomous Driving organization in Santa Clara, CA. This individual contributor will design and operate end-to-end data and ML pipelines for NVIDIA’s autonomous driving products and AV program.

The role requires 8+ years in distributed systems, strong Python/C++ skills, and leadership experience. Expect ownership, cross-team collaboration, and opportunities to advance perception and data platforms at scale with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/EE or related field.
• 8+ years designing and delivering production distributed systems.
• Technical leadership as a senior individual contributor.
• Experience with MLOps, data pipelines, and cloud distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for system-level work.
• Experience operating end-to-end data/ML pipelines for reliability and scale.
• Experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, CV, DL, or GPU computing.
• Strong communication and ownership with customer-focused engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines for AV tech from L2 to L4.
• Own architecture and operations for cloud pipelines ingesting sensor data.
• Build observable MLOps systems for training and evaluation at scale.
• Translate requirements into production systems with cross-functional teams.
• Set direction, metrics, and roadmaps; deliver against milestones.
• Deliver measurable value to internal and external AV customers.
• Contribute via design reviews, debugging, and code reviews; mentor others.
• Work across Python, C++, distributed systems, cloud infra, CI/CD, and data platforms.
