Job summary

Reddit is hiring an experienced engineer to build and operate large-scale offline ML experimentation platforms and agentic AI tooling. You will own the design of distributed systems to support experiments, model training, evaluation, and deployment at scale.

You will partner with ML researchers to accelerate experimentation velocity, develop orchestration frameworks, and enable reproducible research across platforms and workflows, including memory/context systems and multi-agent orchestration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering or large-scale distributed systems.
• 2+ years building/operating production ML infrastructure, developer SDKs, platform APIs, or self-service AI tooling.
• Experience with workflow orchestration systems, developer platforms, or large-scale automation frameworks.
• Experience with distributed data processing systems (e.g., Spark, Flink, Ray).
• Experience with orchestration technologies like Kubeflow, Argo, Airflow or similar.
• Experience building/offline ML experimentation platforms, model registries and experiment tracking.
• Experience with agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration and autonomous workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale offline ML experimentation platforms enabling reproducible research and model development workflows.
• Develop production-grade training orchestration frameworks for distributed training and automated retraining.
• Build infrastructure for experiment tracking, metadata management, lineage and model registries.
• Partner with ML engineers and researchers to improve experimentation velocity and efficiency.
• Create automated workflows for model promotion, rollback and compliance validation.
• Design an agentic AI execution platform supporting autonomous/human-in-the-loop workflows.
