Job summary

Bot Auto is seeking a Senior ML/RL Engineer to advance a unified behavioral architecture for autonomous trucks. You will Bridge simulation and real-world deployment, enabling a scalable policy framework that encompasses L4 ego-policy and diverse simulated agents.

You will work at the intersection of MARL and safety-critical system design to ensure high safety and precision on highways, contributing to production-grade software with cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS, Robotics, or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train scalable RL policies for autonomous trucks.
• Design safe RL methods with safety constraints as primary requirements.
• Create robust reward functions and evaluation metrics balancing safety, progress and comfort.
• Build scalable training pipelines for large multi-agent scenarios.
• Advance neural architectures to improve planning, spatial reasoning and interaction modeling.
• Collaborate with Simulation and Planning teams to deploy models into production-grade software.
