Voltai seeks a senior ML researcher to advance multimodal and large language models, exploring trillion-parameter scales and production-ready implementations. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to translate cutting-edge research into practical AI systems across semiconductor and electronics design.

Responsibilities include developing and evaluating LLMs and retrieval-based systems, publishing research, and driving scalable, high-performance ML workflows in HPC environments.

Qualifications

• Strong ML background with focus on sequence modeling, generative models, and model architectures.
• Proven research track record with publications in top AI venues.
• Experience translating research into production-ready code.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original research in machine learning with multimodal models.
• Develop, train, and fine-tune large language models and multimodal models.
• Scale trillion-parameter and smaller specialized models.
• Design models for discrete and continuous constraint reasoning and graph tasks.
• Build systems integrating LLMs, NLP, and retrieval algorithms.
• Publish findings in AI conferences and journals and contribute to the community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into applications.
• Create synthetic data and collect human-derived data for diverse tasks.
• Lead optimization of open-source and proprietary models under various constraints.
