Job summary

Genesis Molecular AI is seeking an ML Research Scientist to advance foundation models for drug discovery. You will shape our research agenda, lead transformative projects, and collaborate with engineers and drug discovery experts to translate ideas into scalable systems.

You will publish breakthroughs at premier venues and mentor researchers, with seniority levels available from Senior to Principal. The role focuses on diffusion, RL, LLMs, and advanced pretraining methods.

Qualifications

• Deep learning expert with a portfolio in generative or predictive modeling.
• Independent, first-principles thinker with ownership over research.
• Strong coding skills to build and ship models.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset across ML, physics, and biology.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn across AI, physics, chemistry, and biology.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformative research projects from conception to implementation in molecular modeling.
• Design and develop novel models, including diffusion and RL, across architectures and training methods.
• Execute ambitious experiments at scale using world‑class infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers and drug discovery experts to translate research into systems.
• Publish breakthroughs at premier AI/ML venues and conferences.
• Mentor and guide other researchers and engineers.
