Qualifications

Experience with current ML and machine translation technologies.
Understanding encoder/decoder transformer architecture.
Experience with modern text processing pipelines.
Understanding of text encoding vectors.
Understanding differences between transformer architectures and Large Language Models.
Ability to evaluate new MT tools and techniques.
Ability to propose and implement MT tool enhancements.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, research and develops technically complex AI efforts.
Performs research, design, development, and implementation activities for technically complex AI efforts under routine direction of senior staff.
Resolves complex AI problems by applying advanced R&D techniques.
Resolves highly complex AI business and managerial problems.
