Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture seeks a Machine Learning Engineer focused on ML infrastructure to design and scale systems for feeds, ads, and search ranking. You will enhance training/serving workflows, data pipelines, and multi-tenant resource management while building key ML infra components.

Requirements include CS/CE degree or equivalent, strong Go/Python, Linux, and experience with Kubernetes, Flink, and ML frameworks. Preferred: TensorFlow/PyTorch contributions and big data experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Go or Python in Linux environment with strong coding skills.
• Experience with distributed scheduling/orchestration/storage frameworks (Kubernetes, Flink, MapReduce) and ML system development.
• Experience in developing and deploying large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a global-scale ML system for feeds, ads, and search ranking models.
• Improve usability and flexibility of ML infrastructure.
• Improve data pipelines, storage, and resource management for multi-tenant ML systems.
• Design and develop core ML infra components and mentor interns.
