Job summary

Nuro is hiring for an Autonomy ML Infrastructure role in the United States. You will design, build and deploy core ML infrastructure components, enabling scalable model pipelines and optimized models for Nuro’s self-driving fleets.

The role focuses on optimizing the autonomy stack, deploying large language models, and collaborating with engineers across perception, mapping and behavior to advance the autonomous future. Base pay is significant with bonus and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ML optimization infrastructure experience.
• Experience with quantization, pruning and ML compilers.
• Experience maintaining, profiling and optimizing GPU ML compilers & runtimes.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with C++ and CUDA.
• Experience with PyTorch, Jax, TensorFlow or Keras.
• Passion for accelerating robotics benefits.

Responsibilities

• Optimize autonomy stack with quantization, distillation and model compression.
• Collaborate with autonomy engineers to validate and deploy large language models.
• Develop and maintain a world-class model compiler framework, FTL.
• Write robust, high-quality software to improve on-road safety.
• Partner with ML experts across behavior, perception and mapping to deliver end-to-end ML solutions.
