Spotify is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to shape the next generation of Search. You’ll work at the intersection of ML, personalization, and product development, turning complex challenges into intuitive discovery experiences for millions of listeners.

You will build ranking and retrieval systems, explore agentic AI approaches, design experiments, and partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and researchers to deliver measurable improvements for search relevance and user

Formación

• Experience building, deploying, and improving ML systems in production.
• Strong understanding of ML approaches for information retrieval, ranking, or personalization.
• Proficient in Python with modern ML frameworks and data processing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Build and improve ML models for Spotify Search.
• Develop and optimize ranking and backend retrieval systems for discovery.
• Explore AI approaches to create more intuitive Search experiences.
• Design, implement, and evaluate ML solutions from experimentation to production.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and researchers to drive improvements.
• Use data and experiments to understand model behavior and user impact.
• Contribute to scalable ML infrastructure and best practices.
• Share knowledge and guide ML direction within the squad.
