Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy ML models that power core products used by millions of Snapchatters. You will own the full ML lifecycle from data analysis to production deployment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design ML-powered features.

Ideal candidates have strong ML fundamentals, experience with ranking/recommendation systems or related applications, and the ability to work independently while mentoring others. Equity RSUs are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years post-Bachelor ML experience; or Master’s +4 years; or PhD +1 year.
• Experience developing ML models for ranking, recommendations, search, or related applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy ML models powering core products for millions of Snapchatters.
• Apply modern ML techniques to large-scale real-world problems.
• Own full ML lifecycle from data analysis to production deployment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to prototype and launch ML-driven features.
• Design scalable services with strong code correctness, security, and production standards.
