Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in Python.
• 3 years of experience building and deploying recommendation systems models in production; and experience building architecture.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Innovate on the methodology of understanding user interests and develop content retrieval techniques.
• Collaborate with partners to understand user problems and opportunities for personalization.
• Work with large-scale user data to generate training data and experiment with state-of-the-art ML algorithms and model architectures including LLM, deep learning, and distillation.
• Iterate on model quality via evaluations and live experiments to improve product impact and retrieve content across formats (articles, posts, videos, etc.).
• Take full ownership of projects from ideation to maintenance.
