Axon is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer in Seattle to advance AI across our product ecosystem. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team to transform research into production systems, deploying models that operate across devices and cloud infrastructure.

duties include building scalable ML platforms, collaborating with scientists and engineers, and shaping the technical direction of Axon AI capabilities with a focus on responsible, secure AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, or another highly technical field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with production AI/ML deployments.
• Proficiency in Python and C++, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Responsibilities

• Turn emerging AI research into real products and prototypes.
• Build AI systems that operate at real-world scale across cloud and devices.
• Work across model training, evaluation, inference optimization, and data pipelines.
• Design reusable platforms and tooling for rapid experimentation and production deployment.
• Advance generative AI approaches including distillation, quantization, and evaluation.
