Job summary

Jampp, a leading mobile advertising platform, is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own critical parts of our architecture. You will work on a machine-learning platform that predicts in under 20 milliseconds which banner and price to bid for an auction, directly impacting Jampp’s economics and client app performance.

You’ll join a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers and software engineers, contributing creatively to features and ensuring scalability, availability

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience building software in Python.
• Excellent engineering and strong CS fundamentals; production-quality coder.
• Experience with ML technologies and model training pipelines.
• Proficient in writing production-ready, scalable code.
• Experience with AWS; Kubernetes is a plus.
• Good SQL and database knowledge; Trino SQL is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and with others; strong ownership and urgency.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design, code and deploy scalable features for a massive ML-driven bidding system.
• Visualize statistics of model performance.
• Evaluate ML models balancing accuracy and scalability.
• Adapt ML methods for parallel environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists/engineers to build distributed systems.
• Work autonomously and drive features from concept to production.
• Learn and teach state-of-the-art ML technologies.
