Amperity is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to lead complex ML projects and own critical ML architecture components. You will collaborate closely with Applied Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver production ML systems that drive measurable customer impact.

You will embrace AI-first development, mentor teammates, and elevate engineering practices while using tools like Claude Code to accelerate workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production ML systems with pipelines and infrastructure.
• Experience leading complex ML projects within a team as the directly responsible individual.
• Expertise in deployment patterns, model serving, feature engineering, and monitoring/observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, ambiguous ML projects and own technically deep pieces of the team's ML architecture.
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver production ML systems.
• Mentor teammates, review work, and elevate how the team builds and operates ML systems.
