Qualifications

• Production recommendation or personalization systems experience at scale.
• Strong ML fundamentals: engagement modeling, calibration, offline/online metrics, and online experimentation.
• Experience integrating LLMs into ranking, retrieval, or personalization pipelines.
• Leadership experience for technical direction in ranking projects.

Responsibilities

• Own personalization and ranking behind key product surfaces.
• Build user modeling that captures intent, preference, and propensity.
• Design the decision layer balancing competing objectives.
• Build the data and evaluation foundations for learning from usage.
• Help shape the technical direction of ranking and personalization.
