Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, test and operationalize ML and data solutions, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring. The role reports to our Cleveland, OH headquarters and requires legal work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience (7+ years as alternative).
• 4+ years in ML, MLOps, or software development.
• Knowledge of SDLC, MLOps/DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms and software deployment.
• SQL knowledge and relational databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience building microservices and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models and data solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Train, validate, and optimize models for high performance and accuracy; refine techniques.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code.
• Document model development, deployment workflows, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines; automate testing and monitoring for quality and security.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, IT, QA, and PMs to translate requirements into production solutions.
• Provide ongoing support including incident management, root cause analysis, and resiliency testing.
• Stay updated on ML and MLOps advancements and explore innovative solutions.
