Berkadia is seeking a Senior Engineer, Machine Learning to advance Berkie and build AI-driven real estate solutions. You will design anddeploy production ML systems, leverage generative AI, and collaborate with product, data and engineering teams to turn data into revenue-driving technology.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in software and ML, strong Python, cloud/MLOps experience, and a passion for staying ahead in AI. This hybrid role spans New York, Ambler, and Midvale with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building traditional ML models and generative AI systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and MLOps practices (deployment, monitoring, observability).
• Experience working with unstructured data and transforming it into structured formats.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain production-ready ML systems using generative and traditional techniques.
• Architect end-to-end AI solutions for use cases like intelligent document processing and information retrieval.
• Drive the development of Berkie, Berkadia’s generative AI platform, enabling access to proprietary data.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to translate problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Write maintainable code in Python and leverage modern cloud infrastructure; use notebooks for experimentation.
• Establish and contribute to MLOps best practices (deployment, monitoring, observability).
